But when I try to serilize them it wont save my changes when I enter and exit playmode. In Unity, you tend to create a lot of components, but itâs important to keep in mind that you donât have to. When you create a new C class in Unity, it automatically inherits from the MonoBehaviour class, which is Unityâs base class for components. I have different classes meant for different purposes that inherit from this class. Itâs valuable to know when it is or isnât appropriate to use it. But what you should be asking about is the Awake() function, not the variables. Here is one possible solution though it might seem like a bit strange workaround at first: Make your Inventory take a second generic type, use the first one inside the class as needed and 'forward' the second one to the Singleton like e.g.You could have 10 instances of the parent class that all have different values for the same variables. Thus, tan mice are eaten at higher frequency than black mice. I have this editor Im working on and it uses a list that contains an interface class. Variables values are related to an instance of a class, not to the class itself, so they couldnt possibly be inherited. Text reads Tan mice are more visible to predatory birds than black mice.
